Growing Kiddos is a child-centered learning studio offering warm, research-informed support to help children grow as confident readers, writers, and learners.

We typically support children in early childhood and elementary school (roughly ages 4–12).

Our primary offering is literacy support: reading, writing, spelling, and foundational language skills tailored to your child’s needs.

It’s literacy support that often feels different from traditional tutoring: personalized, relationship-based, and evidence-informed, while still joyful and confidence-building.

Common signs include avoiding reading, guessing at words, difficulty with phonics/spelling, slow reading, trouble with comprehension, or low confidence.

We don’t provide formal diagnoses, but we can share observations and recommend next steps if you’d like a full evaluation.

A session usually includes a warm check-in, explicit skill-building, engaging practice with texts/games/writing, and a simple next step to carry into the week.

Currently we are only offering in-person sessions. But if there is enough requests for virtual and depending on my availability, it is something I would consider.
